Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Police Special Operations Team (Malkajgiri) caught one person who allegedly cheated the public on the pretext of renting out properties and vehicles.
The man M Subash (30), who worked at a software company and is a resident of KPHB colony, reportedly placed advertisements on an online portal claiming he wanted to rent out his property. He also uploaded a few pictures of a building at Punjagutta, which actually belonged to another person.
When an interested party contacted him, Subash collected money as advance after sending a forged rental agreement. He told the client that house owner was out of town and sent the document, police said, adding that two cases were booked against him earlier for similar cheating offences.
