Man arrested in Adilabad for duping person of Rs 2 lakh with govt job promise
A man was arrested in Adilabad on Thursday for allegedly duping a Thalamadugu resident of Rs 2 lakh by promising him a government job in the Roads and Buildings Department. Police arrested Md Rafeeq after the victim approached them.

Adilabad: A man was arrested on charges of duping a person with a promise of providing a government job with the roads and buildings department at Thalamadugu village on Thursday.
Police said that Md Rafeeq alias Mohd Rafeeq of Bharampur was apprehended for cheating Karnevar Prem Kumar from Thalamadugu by offering a job with the department after collecting Rs 2 lakh. Rafeeq was not available over the phone, nor repaid the amount. Prem Kumar approached police who nabbed Rafeeq.
