Man assaulted by unidentified persons in Hyderabad

The victim, identified as Linguswamy (40), was recently detained by the Kushaiguda police after a complaint was lodged against him for harassing a woman

Hyderabad: Unidentified persons confined and assaulted a man for allegedly harassing a woman at EC Nagar in Cherlapalli here on Monday.

The victim, identified as Linguswamy (40), was recently detained by the Kushaiguda police after a complaint was lodged against him for harassing a woman. After questioning, he was asked by the investigation officials to appear the next day.

However, he was allegedly caught by three unidentified men and taken to an eatery where he was beaten up. He was let off later. The Kushaiguda police are investigating.
