Man attempts suicide in front of Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad
The man, identified as Nagaraju (38), a resident of Mothe mandal in Suryapet district, poured petrol on himself and was about to immolate himself when security personnel noticed and stopped him.

Hyderabad: A man, who allegedly attempted to die by suicide in front of the Raj Bhavan on Thursday, was rescued by security personnel.
The man, identified as Nagaraju (38), a resident of Mothe mandal in Suryapet district, poured petrol on himself and was about to immolate himself when security personnel noticed and stopped him. Police said Nagaraju came near the Raj Bhavan around 3 pm, in view of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao’s visit after the protest supporting farmers at Indira Park. He then doused himself with kerosene and was about to light a matchstick when he was stopped.
He alleged that he was looking for a job and was depressed due to financial problems. He raised slogans praising the government, the Chief Minister and Minister Jagadeeshwar Reddy and also sought help to solve his financial problems.
He was shifted to the Punjagutta police station and a case booked was against him.
