Man beaten to death by wife, daughters and others after dispute over daughter’s relationship; six booked

Mahabubabad: Maripeda police on Thursday booked six persons, including a man’s wife, two daughters and three others, for allegedly beating him to death at Dasra Jendala thanda in Maripeda mandal.
Daravath Kishan (40) reportedly scolded his daughter Daravath Pallavi on Tuesday night for speaking on the phone with her boyfriend, Bhukya Suresh. Enraged by his interference, Pallavi allegedly conspired with her mother Kavya, sister Dharavath Ramya, boyfriend Suresh and two relatives Boda Chandu and Boda Devender to attack Kishan.
The group allegedly tied Kishan’s hands and legs before assaulting him, inflicting severe injuries that led to his loss of consciousness.
Kishan’s mother, Daravath Sanki, a resident of Mangali Banda thanda in Thirumalayapalem of Khammam district, rushed to the village upon learning of the incident. With the help of other family members, she shifted Kishan to Mahabubabad Government Hospital.
As Kishan’s condition worsened, he was referred to Khammam Government General Hospital, however, he succumbed to injuries before reaching the hospital on Wednesday.
Based on Sanki’s complaint, police have registered a case against all six accused involved in the offence and launched an investigation into the matter.
