Officials seized nine Indian passports, five visiting visa copies from Naseem Banu, prime suspect from Nacharam, and Syed Adil from Begumpet. The absconding suspects are Fathima and Rekha.
According to the police, Naseem Banu established a job consultancy offering jobs abroad and visa services in Tarnaka. She appointed outsourcing staff and publicised the consultancy on various social media platforms offering jobs and visas for countries like Singapore, Australia, Russia, and Mauritius etc.
As many as 12 job aspirants from Hyderabad and Nizamabad paid a total of Rs 35 lakh and submitted their passports for visa processing. However, after collecting the money, they failed to send the victims abroad or provide genuine visas. Instead, they provided fake visas and fake job offer letters. Following a tip-off, the suspects were arrested and handed over to the Lalaguda police for further investigation.
