Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police booked a man and his live-in partner for allegedly harassing his mother for property. The man identified as B Srikanth was into a relationship with a woman, and the couple was living in a rented house at Banjara Hills Road No 14 while his mother B Hemalatha (65) was staying separately in Barkatpura.
According to the police, the couple had allegedly forced Hemalatha to sell her ancestral property at Meerpet. Six months ago, Srikanth brought his mother to his residence, after promising to take care of her. Srikanth allegedly took all the money that came from selling the property and started harassing Hemalatha. He also threatened to send her out of the house. Following Hemalatha’s complaint, a case was booked and being investigated.
