Man booked under POCSO by Malkajgiri police
A man identified as Ravi Kumar has been arrested by Malkajgiri police in Hyderabad for allegedly luring a four-year-old girl with chocolates and sexually assaulting her. The child reported the incident to her mother, leading to the suspect’s arrest.
Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri police have booked a case against a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl by luring her with chocolates.
The suspect, identified as Ravi Kumar, was taken into custody after the child told her mother about the incident.
Police said the incident allegedly occurred on the afternoon of July 26, in an apartment building near the area where the child was playing.
Ravi Kumar, a resident of Mallikarjunagar and reportedly working at a tent house, is said to have called the child over with the promise of giving her chocolates before assaulting her.
The child, crying after the alleged attack, returned home and informed her mother, who then approached the Malkajgiri police. The suspect has been taken into custody.
