Man caught stealing ends life in Sangareddy
Lukalapu Janardhan Rao (45), a resident of Chitkul village in Patancheru mandal was working with a pharmaceutical company in the Pashamylaram industrial area since 2010.
Sangareddy: The employee of a private industry died, allegedly by suicide, after the security reportedly caught him stealing from the industry in the early hours of Thursday.
Lukalapu Janardhan Rao (45), a resident of Chitkul village in Patancheru mandal was working with a pharmaceutical company in the Pashamylaram industrial area since 2010.
He left home for work on September 18 at 2 pm. However, he stayed back in the company for overtime for another shift until the next morning. When he was walking out of the company, the security caught him carrying some things secretly in the glove compartment of his two-wheeler. Feeling humiliated, Rao went upstairs to the canteen and allegedly hanged himself.
The staff noticed him hanging from a pillar hours later. BDL-Bhanur Inspector Swamy Goud registered a case. The body was taken to the government hospital in Patancheru for postmortem. A case was registered following a complaint from his wife Vijaya. He was survived by his wife and two children.
