Medak: Tension prevailed at Polampally in Chegunta mandal as a man climbed a high tension electricity pole in the village, demanding the government restore his job as a Village Revenue Assistant (VRA) by abolishing the reforms introduced by the government. The man Kondi Pradeep climbed the pole on Friday and threatened to touch the wire unless the government restored his job as a VRA.
As multiple efforts by family members and police failed to get him down, the police requested Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, who arrived at the village immediately, convinced Pradeep to climb down from the pole.
