Khammam: A 40-year-old woman and her father were killed when hit by a speeding train at Madhira railway station in the district on Wednesday.

N Saritha (40), who lived at Khammapadu village and her father K Keshava Rao (60) of Mallaram village in Madhira mandal, had returned to Madhira town after visiting Khammam city for a health check.


When they were crossing the railway track to go to the second platform from the first platform, the Navjeevan Super Fast Express hit them, killing them on the spot.
