Man drowns while fishing in Hyderabad lake, body recovered after search operation

Ravi Kumar (40), a construction worker from Nadigadda Thanda, went to a nearby lake for fishing early in the morning. While fishing, it is believed that he accidentally slipped and drowned. His worried family, who had been searching for him, found his footwear near the lake and immediately contacted the police.

Hyderabad: A man who went for fishing in a lake ended up getting accidentally drowned in Hydernagar at KPHB on Saturday.

As per available information, Ravi Kumar (40), a construction worker from Nadigadda thanda, went to the nearby lake for fishing in the morning.

However, while fishing, he is suspected to have accidentally slipped and drowned in the lake. His anxious family members who were searching for him found his footwear near the lake and approached the police.

On suspicion, the KPHB police with the help of expert swimmers had launched a search operation in the lake and recovered the body. It was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.
