Man found hanging in Toopran; Mounting debts suspected

Bijilipuram Yadagiri (38) allegedly borrowed significant sums of money from friends and relatives in the town, promising attractive interest rates. However, when repayment was demanded, he reportedly fled the town with his family.

Medak: A man was hanging in Toopran town on Monday.

Bijilipuram Yadagiri (38) had reportedly borrowed huge amounts of money from friends and relatives in the town offering better interest rates. When they sought repayment, he fled from the town along with his family members. When the victims filed a complaint, the police nabbed him. Yadagiri was sent to remand and was released on bail recently. Since the victims were insisting on repayment, Yadagiri is suspected to have died by suicide on Monday unable to clear the debts.

The police registered a case. The body was shifted to the government hospital in Toopran for postmortem.
