Guntur: A man got a youth murdered by severing his hands and legs as the victim was in love with his daughter. The incident occurred at Koppuravuru of Pedakakani Mandal in the district.

According to police, a youth Venkatesh fell in love with a girl studying Intermediate. Both belonged to the same village and wanted to marry.

However, the girl’s parents did not approve of their love and Venkatesh was summoned before elders and issued a warning. When the father of the girl came to know that she was still keeping in touch with Venkatesh over the phone, he sent his men to attack Venkatesh on Tuesday night.

They severed the youth’s limbs and after he died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Wednesday, they went to the police station and surrendered.
