Man gets life imprisonment for sexually assaulting minor girl
Madakaru Srinivasulu was sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment and fined Rs 10 lakh for sexually assaulting and impregnating a minor girl.
Hyderabad: A local court on Monday convicted and sentenced a man to rigorous life imprisonment for sexually assaulting and impregnating a minor girl.
According to the police, the victim visited the house of Madakaru Srinivasulu (26), located at BK Guda in SR Nagar, to play with his son. Srinivasulu, taking undue advantage of the visits of the girl, sexually assaulted the victim multiple times and threatened her not to disclose it to anyone. The minor girl became pregnant and delivered a baby.
Upon enquiry, the girl informed her parents about the sexual assault. The family approached the police and made a complaint. The police registered a case, and after trial, the court convicted and sentenced the man to rigorous imprisonment for life and awarded a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the victim.
