Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police on Saturday arrested one person who was allegedly involved in a chain-snatching case three days ago. The arrested, S Shiva Kumar, 35, allegedly snatched a gold chain weighing two-and-half tolas from a woman on Wednesday near the Dadu’s Sweets bus stop. The police formed four special teams to identify and nab the snatcher. “After verifying CCTV footage, we identified the man. To avoid getting identified after the snatching, Shiva Kumar changed his shirt after getting into a lane,” said AR Srinivas, DCP (West). Police said Shiva Kumar was previously involved in six cases in the Narsingi police station limits.
