Man held for illegally logging into Mee Seva account, paying challan

According to the police, Kasani Jagan (30) of Dardepalli in Warangal went to a Mee Seva centre in Hayathnagar and fraudulently collected the user id and password of the operator

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Police arrested a security guard from Warangal on charges of illegally logging into a Mee Seva account and downloading Encumbrance Certificates (EC) and paying traffic challans.

According to the police, Kasani Jagan (30) of Dardepalli in Warangal went to a Mee Seva centre in Hayathnagar and fraudulently collected the user id and password of the operator.

He later logged in to the account from a different internet centre and paid traffic challans and downloaded encumbrance certificates illegally.

“The genuine Mee Seva account holder was suffering losses as the charges were getting deducted from his account,” said S Harinath, ACP (Cybercrime), Rachakonda.
