Man held for kidnap, snatching phone in Hyderabad

According to the police, Mohd Amer Ali alias Amer of Kachiguda along with his brother Mohammed Hussain kidnapped a person from Basheerbagh and took him in their auto rickshaw on Feb 25

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old man, who along with his brother was involved in a kidnap and snatching case, was nabbed by the city police on Sunday. According to the police, Mohd Amer Ali alias Amer of Kachiguda along with his brother Mohammed Hussain kidnapped a person from Basheerbagh and took him in their auto rickshaw on February 25.

After snatching the victim’s mobile phone they dropped him at Shaikpet nala before threatening the victim with dire consequences if he reported it to the police.


On information, the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (central) team nabbed him on Sunday. Amer Ali along with the property was handed over to Saifabad police station for further action. Efforts are on to nab Mohammed Hussain who was absconding.
