Man held for sexually assaulting step-daughters in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Langar Houz police arrested a man on charges of sexually assaulting and harassing his two minor step-daughters on Saturday.
The 40 year-old man allegedly threatened and sexually assaulted the girls, aged 16 and 18 years, several times in the house when their mother was not present. The incident came to light after the girls’ mother recently saw them crying and enquired about the same.
Based on a complaint from the mother of the girls, the Langar Houz police have booked a case and arrested the suspect.
While the girls were sent to the hospital for a medical examination, the suspect was produced before the court for remanding in judicial custody.
