Hyderabad: The Madhapur police arrested one person for allegedly killing a woman after raping her near the Hitec City MMTS railway station four days ago.
The arrested man, Lalu Prasad (28) a resident of Serilingampally and native of Kurnool, was in a relationship with the victim for a few years. She reportedly got into a relationship with another person and was avoiding Prasad.
“On Monday morning, on the pretext of talking, he took her to a secluded place near the MMTS railway station where he raped her and then killed her by banging her head to the ground,” Madhapur Inspector P Ravindra Prasad said.
