Man held in Hyderabad for selling oxytocin injections
Officials seized 173 bottles of injections worth Rs 50,000. Police suspect the supply network extends to Gujarat, from where the injections were allegedly procured in bulk.

Hyderabad: The Task Force (Shamshabad Zone) arrested a man for illegally procuring and selling restricted oxytocin injections used in dairy farms at Pahadishareef on the suburb on Monday.
Officials seized 173 bottles of injections worth Rs 50,000.
Police said the arrested suspect identified as A Krishna, a dairy businessman from Mankhal had been sourcing the banned injections from supplier KhaledAli alias Chatru Singh and selling them to dairy farmers at inflated prices for illegal use to increase milk production in buffaloes.
Officials said another buyer, Suresh, is also absconding.
Police suspect the supply network extends to Gujarat, from where the injections were allegedly procured in bulk.
The case has been handed over to Pahadishareef police for further investigation, while efforts are on to trace the remaining suspects.
