Man in live-in relationship with transgender woman; wife attempts suicide in Jagtial
A man from Jagtial abandoned his wife and children to live with a transgender woman from Hyderabad. His wife attempted suicide following the betrayal.
Jagtial: A man from Jagtial, who left his wife and children to live with a transgender woman, triggered a dramatic chain of events after his wife attempted suicide.
Bingi Rajashekhar, a resident of Jagtial, had married Lavanaya from Pembatla in 2014. The couple has two sons. However, Rajashekhar recently developed a relationship with Deepu, a transgender woman from Hyderabad, and began living with her, abandoning his family.

Distressed over her husband’s decision, Lavanaya attempted suicide. She was rushed to the hospital by family members and is currently undergoing treatment.
Rajashekhar reportedly did not visit the hospital to check on his wife, prompting her relatives to search for him. They found him along with Deepu in a room in Jagtial. The family members locked the couple inside and alerted the police.
Police reached the spot and shifted both Rajashekhar and Deepu to the police station for further inquiry.
