Man injured in Choppadandi MLA Satyam’s convoy accident dies in Hyderabad

Karunakar, director of the Gangadhara Market Committee, died in a Hyderabad hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a November 23 accident involving the convoy of Choppadandi MLA Medipalli Satyam near Pudur in Jagtial district. He was shifted for advanced treatment but succumbed.

Karimnagar: Gangadhara Market Committee director Karunakar, who was injured in a road accident involving the convoy of Choppadandi MLA Medipalli Satyam, died while undergoing treatment in a Hyderabad hospital on Tuesday.

The MLA’s convoy was involved in an accident on November 23 when one of the vehicles collided with an oncoming car near Pudur in Kodimial mandal of Jagtial district. The incident occurred as Satyam was travelling to the Kondagattu temple to perform pujas.

Karunakar, who suffered serious injuries, was first shifted to a local hospital and later taken to Hyderabad for advanced treatment, where he succumbed.
