Hyderabad: A photographer was killed in a road accident at Rajendranagar on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Kothuri Balakrishna (34), a resident of Aliabad in the old city. The incident happened when the handle of the scooter hit a traffic stopper placed on the road while he was going towards Moinabad from Aliabad on a scooter.
“He lost balance and fell on the road and was run over by a DCM van from behind. He died on the spot,” Rajendranagar police said. The police have booked a case against the DCM driver and taken him into custody.
