Hyderabad: A man was killed by his brother reportedly following an argument over sharing of expenditure incurred during the marriage of their sister held recently. The incident happened at Shamshabad on Saturday evening.
According to the police, the brothers Yadagiri and Srinivas have been living in Wanaparthy district for the last several years. Recently, they performed their sister marriage and both spent money to meet the marriage-related expenses.
On Saturday, Yadagiri and Srinivas along with three others had come to Gandiguda in Shamshabad on some work where during a conversation they started discussing the marriage-related expenses.
“An argument ensued between them during the conversation and Srinivas in a fit of rage took a knife and attacked Yadagiri resulting in serious injuries. He was shifted to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” said Shamshabad Inspector, Y Prakash Reddy.
Srinivas and others were taken into custody and a case was registered.
