Man kills mother-in-law over property feud in Siddipet
A property dispute turned tragic in Siddipet district when 56-year-old widow Yeluri Ramulamma was allegedly strangled to death by her younger daughter’s husband, Jeevan Reddy, at Timmareddypally village.

Siddipet: Differences over property sharing led to the murder of a woman at Timmareddypally village in Kondapak mandal on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Yeluri Ramulamma (56), a widow who had got both her daughters married.
Police said there was a serious dispute between the two daughters over the sharing of the two-and-a-half acres of land owned by Ramulamma in the village.
On the same issue, the younger daughter’s husband, Jeevan Reddy, allegedly strangled Ramulamma to death at her residence. After committing the murder, he reportedly fled the scene and also snatched her earrings.
Neighbours noticed the woman lying dead at her house late on Tuesday night and alerted the police. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the area. Police registered a case and launched an investigation. Further probe is underway.
