Man kills twin daughters before throwing into well in Karimnagar
A man allegedly killed his five-year-old twin daughters by administering pesticide and dumped their bodies in a well in Karimnagar district. One body was recovered, while search continued for the other. Police have taken the accused into custody
Karimnagar: In an inhuman incident, a man killed his five-year-old twin daughters and threw them into an agricultural well in Jublinagar of Karimnagar mandal on Friday.
According to local people, the couple Gachu Srisailam and Geeta Sree have family disputes. On Friday, they had an argument with each other.
Enraged over the incident, Srisailam killed his daughters by administering pesticides. Later, he threw the bodies into an agricultural well on the outskirts of the village.
On coming to know about the incident, villagers rushed to the spot and launched a search for the girls. The body of one girl was retrieved from the well. The search is continuing for the other.
Enraged over the incident, villagers caught Srisailam and thrashed him severely before handing him over to the police.
Family dispute is said to be the reason for the incident. Recently, the dispute between Srisailam and his wife was discussed at the gram panchayat by village elders.
On coming to know about the incident, police rushed to the spot and began investigation by registering a case.
