Mancherial: A woman was murdered, allegedly by her husband, who pushed her off a bridge on NH 363, near the Coal Chemical Complex (CCC) in Naspur mandal, on Sunday night.
Police said Pulidindi Rajitha (30) died on the spot after suffering severe injuries when her husband, Kumara Swamy of Gandhinagar in Mandamarri, allegedly pushed her from the bridge. A murder case has been registered against him based on a complaint filed by Rajitha’s father, Rajesham, a resident of Kanukula in Sultanabad mandal of Peddapalli district.
In his complaint, Rajesham accused Kumara Swamy of killing Rajitha on suspicion of her infidelity. He stated that Swamy took her from Kanukula to Mandamarri with the intention of murdering her. The accused had been warned several times by elders of both families for harassing his wife, but he allegedly continued his abusive behaviour.
