Hyderabad: A man was murdered, allegedly for refusing to offer a liquor party to an acquaintance at Bowenpally, police said.
The victim, M Vinod Kumar (35) of Bapujinagar in New Bowenpally, was found with injuries a little away from his house on Sunday night. Relatives took him to hospital, where he passed away while under treatment late on Monday night.
Relatives told the police that on Sunday, that one of Vinod’s acquaintance Raju had asked him for a liquor party which he refused as he did not have money. In a fit of rage, Raju attacked and punched Vinod resulting in internal injuries, which later led to his death, police said, adding that further investigation was on.
