Man sentenced to 15 months rigorous imprisonment in Chikkadpally minor girl assault case
A court sentenced Ch Veeresh (52) to 15 months rigorous imprisonment and imposed a Rs 1,500 fine in the 2019 sexual assault case of an 11-year-old girl in Chikkadpally. Police had registered the case following a complaint from the girl’s family.
Hyderabad: A local court on Wednesday sentenced a man to rigorous imprisonment for 15 months in the sexual assault case of a minor girl reported at Chikkadpally in 2019. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1500 on him.
The convict Ch Veeresh (52) of Chikkadpally had sexually assaulted the 11-year-old girl when she had come out alone from her house to a nearby provision store in the neighbourhood.
Based on the complaint from the girl’s family, the Chikkadpally police booked a case and arrested Veeresh.
