Man sets in-laws’ house on fire after marital dispute in Sangareddy

In Sangareddy’s Nizampet, a man allegedly set his in-laws’ house on fire after his wife refused to reconcile with him. The blaze destroyed the house and two motorcycles. Police identified the accused as Ravi, married to Sayavva for 15 years, with three children.

Sangareddy: A man allegedly set his in-laws’ house on fire after his wife decided to part ways with him at Nizampet in the early hours of Friday. The house and two motorcycles parked on the premises were gutted in the incident.

According to police, the accused, Ravi, was married to Sayavva around 15 years ago. The couple has two daughters and a son. However, following serious differences with her husband, Sayavva began living with her parents.

Despite several consultations, Sayavva reportedly refused to return to Ravi. Alleging that his in-laws were responsible for their separation, Ravi set their house on fire.

Police registered a case and said an investigation was underway.
