In Sangareddy’s Nizampet, a man allegedly set his in-laws’ house on fire after his wife refused to reconcile with him. The blaze destroyed the house and two motorcycles. Police identified the accused as Ravi, married to Sayavva for 15 years, with three children.
Seven teachers were injured when a lift collapsed at a private school in Nizampet, Hyderabad. The incident occurred after the suspension cable snapped, causing the lift to fall from the first floor. All were hospitalised and are stable.
