Man, son electrocuted in Nirmal

A farmer and his son were electrocuted after coming into contact with an iron air cooler carrying electric current at Korikanti village in Pembi mandal. The farmer’s wife was injured and rescued by another son. The victims died on the spot

Nirmal: A man and his son were electrocuted, while his wife sustained injuries, when they touched an iron air cooler through which electricity was passing at Korikanti village in Pembi mandal on Saturday evening.

Pembi Sub-Inspector Hanmandlu M said that Rathod Arjun (50), a farmer, and his son Srinivas (25) died on the spot when they came into contact with the cooler. Arjun’s wife Sombai was rescued by her son Subhash. They were sitting in front of the cooler. The cooler fell on them, leading to the incident.
