Kamareddy: A 35-year-old man, along with his two minor children, died, allegedly by suicide on Saturday evening by jumping into a agricultural well in Nandiwada village of Tadwai mandal of the district. The deceased were identified as Srinivas Reddy and his sons Vignesh(6) and Anirudh(4).

According to reports, Srinivas along with his sons went to witness the burning of Ravan’s effigy on the outskirts of the village. When they did not return home till 10 pm a worried Aparna called her husband Srinivas and when she found his mobile phone switched off, she along with other family members rushed to the venue. However, when she could not locate them she lodged a complaint with the police.

The police launched a search operation along with the villagers and found Srinvas’s slippers near an agricultural well. The police with the help of a motor drained the water from the well and found the bodies of the three. The bodies of the trio were shifted to government hospital for postmortem. Police claimed that the family dispute led to the incident.

A case was registered and investigation is underway.
