Hyderabad: The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad, and BioAgri Input Producers Association (BIPA), Hyderabad, on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU will facilitate both MANAGE and BIPA to undertake collaborative activities such as joint training programmes, workshops, research projects, support to Agri startups, agriprenuership development, extension activities and other programmes to promote the use and application of bio-agri inputs for sustainable agriculture.


MANAGE Director General, Dr.P Chandra Shekara, and BIPA president, Dr. KRK Reddy signed the MoU in presence of Prof Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) Vice Chancellor, Dr. V Praveen Rao. Speaking on the occasion, Chandra Shekara highlighted that there was a need to work in partnerships to support the Government of India’s mission on eco-friendly farming throughout the country.

He suggested there were immense opportunities to promote bio-agri products and methods through agripreneurs, input dealers, certified farm advisors, agri-business education and agricultural extension programmes initiated by the MANAGE.

The PJTSAU has also signed a MoU with the BIPA to undertake collaborative activities to promote bio-agri inputs and innovative technologies for an eco-friendly sustainable agriculture.
