Mancherial: Amazon donates oxygen concentrators
Mancherial Collector said that the concentrators were sent to a government-run isolation centre at SCCL’s area hospital in Bellampalli

Mancherial: E-commerce giant Amazon in association with Telangana Social Impact Group (TSIG) donated three oxygen concentrators to Mancherial district, following a plea made by MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao. The concentrators were handed over to Collector Bharati here on Monday.
Diwakar Rao said the online shopping portal readily agreed to sponsor the devices of 10 litre capacity each after being impressed by social service activities of Nadipelli Charitable Trust, a voluntary organisation of Mancherial town. He thanked Amazon for responding to his plea and for coming to the rescue of patients of Covid-19 belonging to the district.
Collector said that the concentrators were sent to a government-run isolation centre at SCCL’s area hospital in Bellampalli. She appreciated the legislator, the e-commerce giant and Kasam Shravan Kumar, programme lead of TSIG for the gesture.
Mancherial Municipal chairperson P Rajaiah, vice-chairperson G Mukhesh Goud, Nadipelli Charitable Trust Chairman N Vijith, Agriculture Market Committee chairman Palle Bhumesh, TRS town president Gade Satyam, in-charge DMHO Dr Aravandi and in-charge of Bellampalli Isolation Centre Dr Anil were present.
