Mancherial businessman does his bit for Covid-hit
Dilip Kumar Agarwal, a transport contractor, donated 10 oxygen concentrators and four monitors to Marwari Yuva Manch, a Mancherial-based voluntary organisation
Mancherial: Dilip Kumar Agarwal, a transport contractor, sponsored 10 oxygen concentrators and four monitors for the convenience of Covid-19 patients. He handed over the medical equipments to Marwari Yuva Manch, a Mancherial-based voluntary organisation on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dilip said that he came forward to provide the concentrators and monitors as a token of gratitude to the almighty when he and his family members recovered from the disease and after being moved by the plight of financially poor patients. We decided to help the needy soon after recovering from Covid, he said.
The contractor further said that he would soon construct a mini-corporate hospital for offering treatment to the patients free of cost.
Municipal chairperson P Rajaiah, vice-chairperson Gajula Mukhesh Goud, Deputy Commissioner of Police D Uday Kumar Reddy, Assistant Commissioner of Police Akhil Mahajan, Indian Medical Association State president Dr Ramana and district president Dr N Mallesh, Marwadi Pragati Samaj president Birjmohan Renwaand others were present on the occasion.
