Mancherial Collector surrenders DPRO to government for neglecting duties

Mancherial: District Public Relations Officer J Sharada was surrendered to the government for failing to discharge duties and showing negligence in performing her duties. Collector Kumar Deepak on Thursday wrote a letter to the Special Commissioner of Information and Public Relations requesting him to arrange an alternative officer.
According to the letter, Sharada was unable to coordinate with the print and electronic media in the district. As such the timely activities of the district administration have not reached to the media. Representatives of the media regularly represented to the Collector pointing out that she has not taken steps to provide publicity to the activities.
Despite clear instructions, the DPRO had not uploaded daily activities in the State level group due to which performance of the district administration has not been appearing in the group and before the government. Multiple warnings were issued, but she did not change her attitude and repeated the lapses, the Collector pointed out. He requested the commissioner to substitute her with a suitable officer.
