The participants interacted with the Forest officials and learned conservation of wildlife and forest at night. Some of them came forward to do their bit for protection of the wild animals and forest cover. They stayed in temporary rooms and under make-shift tents. They would visit some more spots on Sunday and provide feedback before wrapping up the event.

Meanwhile, nature lovers belonging to different towns and cities of the State soaked in nature as part of an eco-connect programme held by the forest department at Turkam cheruvu at Dimmadurthi village in Mamada mandal in Nirmal district. They donated stationery to children, blankets and umbrellas to tribal elders in nearby villages. They lifted garb, plastic and litter from the tank.

JS Panagaria, a 77-year-old nature lover from Hyderabad opined that local tribals were displaying a great level of tolerance and harmony with nature. He stated that the event helps the people to connect with the environment.

Dheeraj, Vijaya Kaveri from Stay Active foundation of Hyderabad, Forest Range Officer S Venugopal and many other officials of Khanapur division were present.
