Mancherial: The famed Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam (SSSD) of Gudem village in Dandepalli mandal registered income of Rs 29.21 lakh by way of offerings and sales of tickets for various services performed on the occasion of auspicious Kartheeka Pournami. The counting of hundid was conducted on the premises of the shrine on Saturday. Executive Officer V Anusha said that the temple earned Rs 9.94 lakh through offerings made by devotees and Rs 19.26 lakh in the form of sales of tickets of Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam and prasadam, etc. It had recorded donations of gold of 23 grams and 180 grams of mixed silver. Nearly one lakh devotees thronged the abode of Lord Satyanarayana Swamy in view of Kartheeka pournami on Friday.
Endowment department’s Inspector Rangu Ravi Kishan Goud, EO Anusha,, principal priests of the temple Raghu, priest Sampath, Dandepalli Sub-Inspector T Srikanth and volunteers of Satyanarayana Swamy Seva Samithi were present.
