Mancherial: Government Whip and Chennur MLA Balka Suman assured that all support would be extended to the kin of jobless youngster Asampelli Mahesh (25), who ended his life at Babbera Cheluka village in Kotapalli mandal recently. He handed over financial aid of Rs 2 lakh to the family members of Mahesh on Saturday.
Suman visited the home of Mahesh and consoled the bereaved family members of the youngster. He promised to provide a double-bed room house, a government job to the sister of Mahesh. He added that the government would extend all support to the kin of the youngster.
The Government Whip later called on the family members of Mukkaneveni Kotesh, who died after being struck by lightning in the same village. He extended financial aid of Rs 50,000 to the members and said that he would speak to the MRO to extend ex-gratia by the government at the earliest. He offered financial aid of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of Kammala Rajesh, who died recently at ward number 2 of Chennur municipality.
The legislator inspected the works of an integrated vegetable, meat and fish market being constructed in Chennur town at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore. He later spoke to local vegetable vendors and said that steps were being taken to expedite the works. He opined that the facility would ease the challenges of the vendors and buyers besides reducing traffic snarls. TRS leader Vala Srinivas Rao, municipal chairperson Archan Lal Gilda and many other TRS leaders were present.
