Mancherial MLA hands over medical kits, oximeters, testing kits to District Collector
The kits and oximeters were sponsored by Nadipelli Charitable Trust, a software company Vision Infotech and various donors from Mancherial district following a call given by Rao.

Mancherial: Mancherial MLA N Diwakar Rao handed over 3,500 medical kits, 2,500 Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) kits and 700 oximeters to District Collector Bharati Hollikeri, who in turn distributed them to various primary health centres in the district on Wednesday.
The kits and oximeters were sponsored by Nadipelli Charitable Trust, a software company Vision Infotech and various donors from Mancherial district following a call given by Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, Bharati was all praise for Diwakar Rao for extending a helping hand to Covid-19 patients. She said raising funds of Rs 12.85 lakh for buying the drugs, testing kits and devices was a laudable effort, helping the infected from three municipalities and 66 villages of Dandepalli, Hajipur and Luxettipet mandals.
Collector express happiness
The Collector expressed happiness over the gesture of donors and said several measures were in place to tackle the pandemic. She stated that the oximeters would be useful in self-monitoring oxygen saturation levels of patients as well as persons with symptoms. She said that the devices could help in detection of the virus in an early stage and save many lives.
Diwakar Rao expressed gratitude to the donors who generously contributed for the cause. He said that the devices would be tracked by employees of the health and medical department and they could be shared among the patients in a ward or village. He stated that patients could cure the disease with the help of medical kits, while testing kits could be used for carrying out investigations in primary health centres.
700 oximeters given for first time
The legislator informed that a whopping 700 oximeters were sponsored for the first time in Telangana. A total of 370 oximeters, purchased with the help of donations, would be utilized by primary and urban health centres in Mancherial, Luxettipet and Naspur municipalities. As many as 330 oximeters sponsored by Vision Infotech were given to 66 villages in Hajipur, Dandepalli and Luxettipet mandals, he explained.
Mancherial municipal chairperson P Rajaiah, Agriculture Market Committee Chairman Palle Bhumesh, Nadipelli Charitable Trust Chairman N Vijith Rao, District Rice Millers Association president Nalmas Kanthaiah and many donors were present.
