BRS leader T Jeevan Reddy staged a marathon sit‑in on the Mancherial–Jannaram–Jagtial road demanding Rs 50 lakh compensation for families of four farmers killed in Luxettipet. Despite assurances from officials, he vowed to continue until the government responds, causing traffic disruption.
Mancherial MLA K Premsagar Rao warned Congress leadership against encouraging defections, saying it could harm the party’s survival. He urged priority for loyal leaders amid concerns over turncoats dominating party affairs.
The kits and oximeters were sponsored by Nadipelli Charitable Trust, a software company Vision Infotech and various donors from Mancherial district following a call given by Rao.
