Mancherial students celebrate Yoga with Dad

Students of Ethic Academy in Mancherial celebrated ‘Yoga with Dad’ as part of the countdown to International Yoga Day. Fathers and children performed yoga postures, exchanged Fathers’ Day greetings and pledged to spend more quality time together and strengthen family bonds

Mancherial: Students celebrated ‘Yoga with Dad’ to mark the countdown to the 12th International Yoga Day on a colourful note on the premises of Ethic Academy, the Elementary School, here on Saturday.

Pupils, along with their fathers, enthusiastically participated in the event. They performed various postures of the ancient system of wellness. They later presented cards to their fathers and extended Fathers’ Day greetings. The fathers pledged to allocate time to spend with their children, impart values and share their feelings.

Ethic Academy director Charan Reddy said that the event was aimed at fostering a bond between a father and child. He thanked the parents for taking part in the programme. Principal Laxmi Reddy and teachers were present.
