Hyderabad: The issues in the Mohan Babu family refuse to die down.
On Sunday, the veteran actor’s younger son Manchu Manoj again visited the Pahadishareef police station in the evening. It is learnt, Manoj went to the police station to inform the officials about an alleged attempt to harm him and his family by Manchu Vishnu, his elder brother and others on Saturday night.
In a statement released to the media, he alleged that Vishnu, along with his associates—Raj Kondurgu, Kiran Vijay Reddy, and a group of bouncers—entered his house under the pretense of delivering a birthday cake for my mother on her birthday.
“They tampered with the main generators in my home, pouring diesel mixed with sugar, a deliberate act designed to cause catastrophic failure. Late in the night, the generators malfunctioned, leading to dangerous electrical fluctuations. The entire household was at risk, including my elderly mother, my nine-month-old daughter, my uncle, and my aunt from the village,” he alleged.
He further alleged that Vishnu and his team further escalated the situation by forcibly removing the last loyal staff member from my house, leaving his family vulnerable and helpless.
“This is not an isolated incident but part of an escalating pattern of threats and hostility. Despite prior warnings from law enforcement, these actions have continued with complete disregard for the safety of my family and me,” Manoj alleged in the statement.
