Nalgonda: Several passengers sustained injuries when a sleeper coach bus collided with a stationary ready-mix lorry on the Addanki–Narketpally Highway near Ellareddygudem in Nalgonda district on Sunday morning.

The bus driver, who suffered serious injuries, was shifted to Narketpally hospital for treatment.

The bus was carrying around 40 passengers at the time of the accident and sustained significant damage in the impact. While the exact cause is yet to be ascertained, police suspect that the driver may have dozed off at the wheel or was speeding.
