Maoist leader Haribhushan’s wife Sammakka too succumbs to Covid-19

Sammakka, a native of Gangaram village in Mahabubabad district, which is near to Madagudem of Yapa Narayana, too joined the outlawed CPI Maoist party.

Warangal: Maoist Telangana State Committee Secretary and Central Vommittee member Yapa Narayana alias Haribhushan’s wife Bejjeri Sammakka alias Saradakka too succumbed to COVID-19, according to the relatives.

While Narayana died on June 21, she died on June 24 and the last rites were conducted by the fellow party members. Sammakka, a native of Gangaram village in Mahabubabad district, which is near to Madagudem of Yapa Narayana, too joined the outlawed CPI Maoist party.


When contacted, Mahabubabad SP Nandyala Koti Reddy said that they too had received the information through the relatives of Sammakka about her death. He, however, added that the Maoists have to make a statement on the death of their party member.
