Hyderabad: TRS party Malkajgiri parliament constituency in-charge Marri Rajashekar Reddy, along with Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy, on Tuesday, inaugurated the district science fair at Medchal Government Boys High School.
The science fair has been designed and sponsored by Rajashekar Reddy and is being held in association with MLR Group of Institutions and the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering. The fair gave a platform for students to showcase their talent in the field of science and technology and free material was distributed to all teams.
Over 3,000 students in 1,080 teams from 120 government high schools are participating in the fair. This apart, more than 250 engineering NSS students from MLR Group are taking part as mentors.
The science fair in Kukatpally and Uppal zones is scheduled to be held on December 2 and 4, while the grand finale will be conducted at the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, the press release added.
