Marri appealed to members of the Muslim community to celebrate Ramzan in accordance with the Covid protocols and also urged everyone to stay careful
Hyderabad: TRS Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency in-charge, Marri Rajasekhar Reddy on Monday distributed clothes to the underprivileged Muslim members of the constituency for Ramzan.
“By gifting clothes to the underprivileged during the time of festivals makes people very happy. By distributing gifts to Christians for Christmas, to Hindus for Bathukamma and to Muslims for Ramzan is a great initiative taken up by the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao. We plan on gifting clothes to the more persons from the Muslim community in the constituency,” said Rajasekhar Reddy.
He also appealed to members of the Muslim community to celebrate Ramzan in accordance with the Covid protocols and also urged everyone to stay careful. Reddy also expressed his best wishes for the festival.
Cantonment Board ex-chairman Jakkula Maheshwar Reddy, ward-3 board member Prabhakar, market committee chairman TN Srinivas and elders from the Muslim community and others were present at the occasion.
