Mass vaccination drive for power staff inaugurated at NTPC-Ramagundam

Peddapalli: Guided by the “People before Plant Load Factor” mantra, NTPC is taking all measures to provide the best healthcare facilities to its employees and their family members, said Sunil Kumar, Chief General Manager, NTPC (Ramagundam & Telangana) while inaugurating the mass vaccination drive on Monday.
In adherence to Covid protocols, employees and contract workers are putting their best efforts in ensuring uninterrupted power generation at NTPC-Ramagundam. In NTPC’s fight against Covid-19, this mass vaccination will not only bolster uninterrupted power generation efforts but also a new hope, Sunil Kumar added.
Earlier, Sunil Kumar along with senior officials inspected the facilities and arrangements made at the vaccination camp. Held at Kakatiya function hall of the township in association with Apollo Reach Hospital, Karimnagar, the first dose vaccination drive will continue till June 21 covering beneficiaries above 18 years of age from NTPC employees and their family members, associate agencies and their family members, contract workers working in TAD area, NTPC-Ramagundam and NTPC-Telangana Project.
Meanwhile, for hassle-free and smooth process of vaccination, slot booking through Apna Complex App has been introduced. Further, multiple help desks and vaccination registration counters have been put up to ease the process. On the first day, around 250 employees and their family members were administered vaccination. GMs, HoDs, Office bearers of Unions and Associations, Medical Staff from Dhanwanthari and Apollo Reach Hospital and others were present during the inauguration.
